ALL PROCEEDS TO EAST MIDLANDS DOG RESCUE

Is a method of working with animals without fear or force. It combines gentle body and groundwork exercises, which any owner can learn to do. Puppies grow very quickly and it can be difficult for them to keep a good mental awareness of their body and movement.

This may be the root cause of:

  • Clumsy, excitable and/or boisterous behaviour

  • Reactive behaviourTouch & sound sensitivity

  • Excessive mouthing, barking or chewing

  • Pulling (or leaning into) the lead

  • Inability to focus/concentrate and difficulty in learning new tasks

  • Inability to cope when left aloneInability to settle quietly

TTouch was featured in the popular 9 wk ITV and National Geopgraphic series “Talking to Animals” with Sarah Fisher. Marie and Sarah joined forces to write 100 Ways to Train the Perfect Dog & 100 Ways to Solve Your Dog's Problems.

Marie Miller TTouch P3 is a qualified TTouch Practitioner for Companion Animals. She gives talks, demonstrations nationally and internationally and assists TTEAM International’s Practitoner Instructors in teaching this work to students on the Practitioner Training Programme.

East Midlands Dog Rescue

East Midlands Dog Rescue have been rescuing & rehoming adbandoned & unwanted dogs & pups for almost 20 years. The rescue centre & kennels are based in Enderby, Leics. Dogs from over the East Midlands & beyond are taken in.

Most of the dogs are cared for in our kennels whilst we try to find loving new homes by appeals on our website and in local newspapers. Some of the dogs have been neglected or have suffered abuse and need sensitive handling. Others require prompt veterinary attention and operations. Fortunately, we have a dedicated team of foster mums and dads and we also receive excellent support from our vets and nursing staff.

Together we are able to save many dogs and puppies that may not have been given a chance in life.   On average we help over 200 dogs and puppies each year. We ensure all dogs placed with us are spayed/neutered to help prevent more unwanted litters of puppies.

Advertising costs, food bills and vet fees are paid for by EMDR to all dogs and puppies that find themselves needing a friend  visit our website at www.eastmidlandsdogrescue.org for more information
